Cortina Inn and Resort is a four-season resort hotel offering the atmosphere of an elegant country inn, combined with the amenities of a resort hotel. We are located in the heart of the Vermont's Green Mountains adjacent to the Killington Ski and Summer Resort and the Green Mountain National Forest.
Our amenities include a full indoor fitness center with indoor pool, whirlpool, workout room and saunas. We have 8 tennis courts and we offer an on-site fly-fishing school and guide service. We also have hiking and biking trails on-site and our central Vermont location puts us within 30 minutes of 6 championship golf courses. Our licensed massage therapist is available daily by appointment to soothe away your aches and rejuvenate your soul. During the winter season we offer horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice-skating and our trails are open for snowshoeing and snowmobiling. We are within minutes of the lifts at the Killington Ski Resort.
Ceremonies: We can provide an elegant and beautiful setting in our award-winning flower garden, in front of our gazebo overlooking the beautiful mountains, or in our sophisticated library. There is an additional fee for the rental of chairs for all onsite ceremonies.
Reception Dinners: We offer a choice of up to 3 entrées for served dinners. We are especially skilled at providing creatively designed buffet dinners and station dining and customizing menus to suit your taste and budget.
Lodging: Cortina Inn & Resort has 96 beautifully appointed rooms and suites; some with fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs, all accommodations have a balcony or terrace. All of our quiet rooms have air conditioning and are equipped with color cable televisions and in room telephones with data ports. Rooms begin as low as $98 per night for single occupancy and $125 per night for double occupancy, depending on the season. All lodging rates for your function include our legendary hearty Vermont buffet breakfast.
We will take care of mailing to all of your prospective out-of-town guests and handle their reservations and deposits.
Capacity: The Pico Ballroom can accommodate 175 people comfortably with a dance floor and DJ station. We can accommodate a wedding/reception up to 300 outside with a tent. Cortina Inn & Resort requires the rental of a tent as a safety measure, in case of inclement weather.
Deposits: If you choose Cortina Inn & Resort to host your wedding, a $500.00 fee is required to reserve and hold your date for up to 30 days. At this time you should begin selecting the wedding package, provide an estimated guest count, and choose the number of rooms that you wish to block. We will provide a contract and will require a $1000 deposit, which will be applied to your final bill, within 30 days of booking the facility. Once your guaranteed guest count is received, we will send you an estimated bill. We require this balance to be paid ten business days prior to your function.
Guarantee: Two weeks prior to the event we ask that you provide a final guest count. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. If a guarantee guest count is not received by the due date, the expected attendance will become the number of guests guaranteed. Final charges will be based upon your guarantee, or the actual attendance, whichever is greater. Your final bill will reflect all deposits and be at the front desk for payment the morning of your departure. If you cancel with us, all deposits are nonrefundable.
Facility Fee: $1500.00 facility fee includes tables, chairs, linens, flatware, china, glassware, a dance floor, a wedding dinner tasting for up to 4 guests and a complimentary bride and groom suit the night of your wedding. There is an additional charge for rental of a tent and chairs for outdoor receptions.
Rehearsal Dinners: We are able to do a variety of themes for rehearsal dinners. Often when the reception is a sit down dinner, a fun alternative to a formal rehearsal dinner can include an upscale barbeque, station dining or a luau. Our onsite restaurants are also available for rehearsal dinners.
Sunday Brunch: A great way to say goodbye to your guests that have been staying the weekend is to reserve a section of Zola's Grille for our locally and regionally renowned Sunday Brunch Buffet. The brunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Sunday for $14.95 inclusive.
