Holiday Valley is the Best for Learning...
The Creekside Lodge is headquarters for all beginner skiers and riders. When you first arrive at Holiday Valley park near the Clubhouse Chalet, and follow the green dots or ask one of our Hosts, dressed in a yellow jacket. They will lead you to the Creekside Lodge, where you can ask questions, rent equipment, sign up for a beginner's lesson or just relax by the fire and soak up the atmosphere. We'll give you all the tools you'll need ...experienced instructors, excellent teaching terrain and state-of-the-art equipment. Beginner lessons are offered at 10:30 and 1:30, or as soon as there are enough students to make up a class. And if you feel you need more help after your lesson, just let us know and you can continue with the next group.
For children under 12 years, go to Mountain Adventures, also in the Creekside Lodge.
Beginner's Package
For first time skiers or snowboarders. Includes School Haus area lift ticket, rental equipment and first time 1-1/2 hour group ski or snowboard lesson. Private instruction also available. Register and receive rental equipment at the Creekside Lodge. Lessons offered daily between 9 AM and 2 PM. New York State is sponsoring a special offer during the month of January.

Here's a great way to get started. This package includes 3 ski or snowboard lessons, beginner rental equipment and 3 lift tickets. The first beginner's lesson starts at the Creekside Lodge and the first lift ticket is for the School Haus beginner's area. The second and third sessions include more advanced lessons and lift tickets for the entire area. Register for your first lesson and get rental equipment at the Creekside Lodge. Restrictions apply. Ages 12 & over.
