The Diablo Freeride Park offers 2 technical cross country loops on the backside of Vernon Peak - the Caliente loop and the Diablo Loop. Caliente is our short technical loop - approximately 4 miles. The Diablo loop is approximately 8 miles long. Both loops include tight single track, rocky descents and climbs, rutted off camber areas, and some skinny plank crossings. These cross country trails are difficult, and are not designed for beginners. Be sure to check out and respect the wildlife while riding - black bear sightings are not uncommon on these trails.
The Diablo Freeride Park is operated by a separate company called TerraLogic Park Industries, who have an agreement with Mountain Creek Resort that permits them to use the Cabriolet Gondola and the mountain terrain.
The Diablo Freeride Park is operated by a small crew of dedicated workers, many of whom volunteer their time for trail work and other jobs. If you're interested in joining the Diablo Crew next Spring, please email the park and let us know.
All participants are required to review and sign a liability waiver. Those under the age of 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. For convenience, we offer this waiver
